Thunder Creek Mountain

Thunder Creek Mountain is a log flume water ride. The ride begins with the logs floating through a tranquil shaded area as they head towards the lift. After ascending the long lift hill, the boats cruise around under the trees and pass through a fast rapids section as they approach the main drop. Since the drop conforms to the natural hill the ride is built on, it is of an unusually shallow angle and very long. Logs gain momentum and rocket down this hill, splashing into the large pool of water below. Thunder Creek Mountain is a great way to cool off without getting completely soaked.

Thunder Creek Mountain is located on the lower portion of Dorney Park. The ride is built into the side of the hill which is also occupied by a portion of Steel Force.

Thunder Creek Mountain is for guests 46 inches tall, or accompanied by an adult.
