I expect the park to be more crowded than it was today. It might have been the forecast that kept people away since it was supposed to rain starting in the afternoon but never did.

WWK wasn't crowded at all for July. Most slides except Aquablast were 5 - 10 minutes. I noticed a lot of inconsistencies with the lifeguards today. Some were allowing people to wear aquasocks and flip flops on the slides and others weren't. At Wildwater Rapids, the lifeguard told a group of people shirts weren't allowed on those slides only to let another few people wear shirts on the slides a couple of minutes later (and they were regular shirts and not rashguards). At Patriot's Plunge the line was moving fast as usual but then the next lifeguard was only allowing 3 people to enter the slide area at each time and then not letting the next 3 people sit at the slide entrances making the line move a lot slower.

It was also bad with slides not being run at capacity. At Wildwater Rapids, most people were going for the yellow and green enclosed slides and unless you were towards the front of the line and said you wanted the orange and blue slides, they mostly were not being used. It wasn't too much of an issue today but on a crowded day it would be.

Thunder Canyon and White Water Landing had no line, Thunder Creek Mountain was around 10 minutes. I saw Wild Mouse was closed and later opened up with around a 40 minute line.

Talon, Hydra, Steel Force, Possessed and Dominator had no line. Thunderhawk was closed when I walked by the ride. I didn't ride Stinger but it looked like the line wasn't out of the station. I also rode Enterprise with no wait.

The focus of my trip was WWK with getting 21 slides in, going to the shorter lazy river and going into Island Water Works for around 10 minutes and then spending around 90 minutes on the ride side (not counting the time spent riding the wate rrides).

Maybe people were just tired and worn out from the holiday weekend. I know that the park was jam packed July 4th and I went July 5 and it was pretty crowded. Does anyone know how Saturday and Sunday were?
