5/8/04 - Opening Day!
Walking around the park, there was quite a nice crowd, hopefully an indication of a good season to come.

Lots of new stuff and paint throughout the park, such as the games area across from Musik Express. Picasso Pizza is now Monster Grille. A new food cart has popped up in the Steel Force plaza, The Nutty Bavarian.

It was great to see the park so well staffed... management was out and about, security was visible in the queues of many rides watching for line jumpers, maintenance was around fixing some of the opening day bugs throughout the park, and food stands, rides and games were all well staffed.

All rides were open during the day, with the only major problems being with Hang Time and Revolution, which ended up closing in the late afternoon and remaining closed for the night.

Oh, and there's a new sign up on the fence blocking Hercules' site... it says "Hydra The Revenge Opening 2005." It's going to be a fun season!
