Hydra the Revenge is a $13 million steel floorless coaster which debuted at Dorney Park in 2005. The construction process for the ride began with the removal of the Hercules roller coaster, and then the construction of Hydra throughout 2004. Here you can see the latter half, the vertical construction of the ride.

The turn for the prelift is up, track and all. More twisted track for the prelift is up behind the fence. A long piece of lift track is waiting on site too, ready to be lifted into place. More tomorrow.

Hydra is beginning to go up, with supports for a pre-lift section as well as the base track of the lift hill. Some further lift supports are up, along with some of the chain return. Track is scattered around the site. Note that the pictures from the back side, outside the park, were actually taken on Thursday, August 5th, but not much has changed there between then and today.
